MidAmerica Productions is a renowned music production company, specialising in organizing and producing concerts in New York City and worldwide. MidAmerica Productions unites conductors, soloists, and choral and instrumental ensembles in unforgettable, life-changing performances.

what does this residency entail?

Rehearsals and Concert

You will work with Thomas during the week on Ralph Vaughan Williams' wonderful work, the Five Mystical Songs. On the concert day, this will be accompanied by the New England Symphonic Ensemble.

MidAmerica Productions staff will be onsite to manage all concert-related activities, from the rehearsals

to the post-concert reception cruise.

All participants will receive a replica of the large marquee poster announcing your concert in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall.

Full concert residency package non-performers will receive a complimentary ticket to your concert at the best seats in the house (Parquet/Main level - $125 value). Non-performers will also have the opportunity to attend any and all rehearsals, including the closed dress rehearsal.

There are two packages available for this residency:

Full Concert Residency Package - $2,099 per person

Cost above based on quad occupancy. Airfare not included.


This includes:


LODGING & TRANSPORTATION


  • Five days and four nights at a four-star Midtown Manhattan hotel based on quadruple occupancy (four people sharing two double beds). The hotel provides an ideal base for both rehearsals and sightseeing.
  • Professional travel management during your hotel stay, including arrival and departure.
  • All tips, gratuities, and baggage handling by the hotel upon arrival (limited to one bag per person).
  • All rehearsal and concert-related transportation within the City of New York including to and from the post-concert

                    reception cruise.


Occupancy Options:


Quadruple - Two beds & four people - $2,099 per person

Triple - Two beds & three people - $2,449 per person

Double - Two beds & two people (or one bed & two people)  

                                                                                                  - $2,799 per person

Single - One bed & one person - $3,949 per person


POST-CONCERT RECEPTION CRUISE


  • The exclusive post-concert reception cruise features a two-hour sail around the Hudson River, offering spectacular views of the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the New York City skyline.
  • Music, dancing, a dinner buffet, and two drink tickets are included; extra drink tickets can be purchased on board. Guests must be at least 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages on the cruise. 


*A limited number of additional non-residency guests may also be accommodated on the cruise with the purchase of a $179 ticket.


OTHER INCLUSIONS


  • A complimentary full residency and airfare package for the Director.

*Applicable when there are over 30 paying registrants. 

Free airfare for the director applicable only if the group is flying through MAP’s

travel partner. 

For every additional 30 paying registrants, the group receives one additional full concert residency package. Bonus packages will be awarded at quad occupancy.

  • Two complimentary tickets in prime parquet seating for your concert, for personal use.

**With a minimum of 30 registered participants.

Concert-Only Residency Package - $1,399 per person

Hotel, airfare, and travel within NYC not included.

SAMPLE ITINERARY OF THE WEEK

31st March 2027 - Day One

Arrival in NYC and hotel check-in.

1st April 2027 - Day Two

One chorus rehearsal with guest conductor and piano accompaniment in the morning or afternoon; directors’ meeting during first rehearsal. The rest of day is free.

2nd April 2027 - Day Three

One chorus rehearsal with guest conductor and piano accompaniment in the morning or afternoon. The rest of day is free.

3rd April 2027 - Day Four

Final dress rehearsal in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, followed by the concert and a post-concert cruise around the Statue of Liberty and lower Manhattan, featuring music, dancing, dinner, and two complimentary drinks.

4th April 2027 - Day Five

Hotel check-out and departure.
