A touring choir visiting Cathedrals and venues around Europe for the past 15 years.
Thomas has been the Artistic Director and Musical Director of the Prometheus Consort since January 2022.
The Prometheus Consort is a touring choir consisting of a pool of over 100 singers, visiting Cathedrals and venues around Europe for the past 20 years. Started up in Suffolk nearly two decades ago, the choir now includes members from across the UK. The choir have sung services at venues such as St. Paul's Cathedral, Southwark Cathedral, Llandaff Cathedral and Guildford Cathedral.
Most recently, the choir sang three services at St. Paul's Cathedral over the New Year's Eve weekend in 2023.
Later this year, we are very excited to be singing three services in the beautiful setting of Gloucester Cathedral over the weekend of 24-25th August 2024.
Have a look at some highlights from our recent visit to Guildford Cathedral in August 2023!
The Prometheus Consort do not have weekly rehearsals - we only meet on the weekends when we sing at the venue (usually a cathedral). If you are interested in joining, please could you complete the below form. You will be asked some questions about your voice type, your previous singing experience, as well as some terms and conditions. Thank you!
