Chorus Master (Youth Opera)

Thomas was privileged to be the Chorus Master of the Welsh National Opera Youth Opera in 2022. The Youth Opera performed Dmitri Shostakovich's satire opera 'Cheryomushki', otherwise known as "Cherry Town, Moscow".
Animateur
Since being the Chorus Master of the Youth Opera, Thomas was subsequently asked to become an Animateur for WNO. Since this, Thomas was closely involved in Blaze of Glory!, a story which follows the fortunes of a small group of miners who embark upon a musical escapade by reforming their Male Voice Choir to raise spirits following a mining disaster. Each performance had real Male Voice Choirs from around Wales involved in the performances, and Thomas was tasked with teaching several choruses to these Male Voice Choirs.
